snapshots: bathtime burrow baby

Bathtime was an acquired taste for little Nora Jayne (see also: how to make your child scream as if you're sawing off one of their limbs), but now she loves it.  She kicks her little feet and giggles...until it's time to get out.  Then the combination of the cold air and being whisked away really does not agree with her.  It's really such a shame that she isn't cute at all.

(Sidenote: Nora, if for some reason, in middle school, your friends discover this post and it embarrasses you, I'm very sorry.  Except that I'm not sorry at all because look how cute you are and hopefully you inherit my trait of only becoming embarrassed about once every decade.)

snapshots: eleanor with great-grandparents

Nora got to spend some time getting doted on by her great-grandparents (on Luke's side) over Easter weekend.  Watching them hold hands was pretty much the most adorable thing ever.

eleanor jayne: still playing catch-up (10 weeks)

Our beauty at ten weeks: loved her swing, was still swaddled for bedtime, started growing out of her clothes, and thought dancing with Dad was hilarious.

a very toledo easter: 2015

I was going to write about the joy of Easter and family, but I think you can just look at these joyful faces and get the idea.  We are very blessed.

I swear our baby likes us and isn't constantly trying to escape.

eleanor jayne: playing catch-up (8-9 weeks)

As I sit here on my couch, next to my sleeping baby, eating peanut butter off of a spoon, I realize: I am so behind on documenting this little beauty's life.  It's unbelievable.  It's almost like I spend 90% of my time feeding/snuggling/changing/meticulously choosing outfits for her.  These are just a few shots from the 8-9 week range.  This is when Nora became more active.  More engaging.  Less swaddling.  Less screaming (still lots of screaming). It's hard to believe these were taken 7 weeks ago (like I said, so behind).
