nora's first lake trip

I've written fairly extensively about the lake here before, and at the end of May, Nora got to experience it for the first time.  She was a pretty big fan.

cultivating gratitude: grandpa edition

My grandpa has had a tough year.

I can't even imagine what it's like to lose your wife of sixty years.  Seeing him light up with Nora was one of the most beautiful things her little life has produced so far.  Smiling at the baby, mixed with telling us memories of grandma, reminds me how blessed I was to know her and love her for as long as I did, and reminds me how grateful I am to have my two remaining grandparents.

eleanor jayne: burrow visitors, vol. 3

One of Nora's biggest fans came to see her.  Great-grandpa (who does NOT travel), made the trek (in a suit!) to meet his newest baby.  They were fast friends.
